EV batteries last longer than drivers feared

A new study finds that most electric vehicles retain roughly 90% of their original usable battery capacity after 150,000 km of driving. Manufacturers’ warranties typically cover eight years or 100,000 miles (160,000 km) and require battery replacement if capacity drops below 70%.
