Even the King of England has his hesitations about AI

King Charles convened a private summit at Dumfries House with Nvidia’s Jensen Huang, OpenAI and Anthropic leaders, UK AI minister Kanishka Narayan, and the head of UK foreign intelligence. He urged rapid AI governance, citing medicine’s benefits and the risk of “dark” capabilities, and called for international cooperation to keep the technology “in the service of humanity.” The meeting included OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar and Anthropic’s Tino Cuéllar, who thanked the king for facilitating the discussion.
