Samsung’s Edge Panel adds a configurable shortcut bar to Galaxy phones, appearing as a thin line on the screen edge that users swipe to access panels such as Apps, People, Tasks, Weather, Tools, Clipboard, and Reminder. Users enable it via Settings → Display → Edge Panels, select which panes to show, reorder them, and edit each pane’s contents to place frequently used shortcuts—like app icons, contacts, screenshots, calendar events, a compass, and clipboard access—within easy reach while optionally hiding the panel on the lock screen.
