Factorial is rallying a team of suppliers to get solid-state batteries into cars

Factorial Energy has entered a joint development agreement with Japan’s Mitsui Kinzoku to produce solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries. The company’s CEO says that no single firm can deliver the technology alone, citing a growing network of partners. ProLogium is already mass-producing all-solid-state cells in Taiwan and is constructing a European gigafactory in Dunkirk.
