Fashion startup Atoire raises $9.5M to bring consumers luxury goods without the markup

Atorie secured a $9.5 million seed round from a16z speedrun, Night Capital, and Lightspeed Ventures’ Jeremy Liew. The company sells handbags and clothing made in the same factories and materials as luxury brands, pricing items like an Italian-leather bag at a few hundred dollars. Co-founder Redouane Ramdani says the model uses factories that now produce smaller batches, AI to forecast trends, demand, and material availability, and an AI-driven tool that helps shoppers build outfits.
