Fitbit founders launch Luffu Link, an LTE health and safety band
Fitbit co-founders James Park and Eric Friedman introduced Luffu Link, a $250 LTE-enabled band that tracks activity, sleep, heart-rate variability, breathing rate, and location while allowing voice-logged medication, symptoms, meals, and mood entries. It transmits real-time help requests and location to trusted contacts, and its companion app uses AI to organize data and flag family health pattern changes. Preorders are open, with shipments slated for early 2027.
