Flipboard acquires Graze, the feed builder working to monetize the open social web

Flipboard has acquired Portland-based feed builder Graze, which monetizes open social web feeds through contextual ads split 70/30 with creators. Graze has delivered 41 billion posts to 12 million users across 7,000+ feeds, with 60% of traffic monetized, and offers tools for building, publishing, and managing Bluesky feeds via AT Protocol. The deal expands Flipboard’s Surf app and future AT Protocol-based services, leveraging Graze’s adtech and Flipboard’s advertiser relationships.
