Flock reportedly tries to shrink workforce with employee buyouts
Flock Safety announced a voluntary buyout program offering its 1,500 employees a “most generous” severance package, with the company planning to grant it to a majority of interested staff. The move follows backlash over its license-plate recognition technology, including 46 police misuse cases and the loss of 90 city contracts in August, which has damaged internal morale.
