Four American firms skipped Macron’s space summit, and are due back in Paris a week later

Four U.S. space firms—SpaceX, Blue Origin, Stoke Space and Starcloud—withdrawn from President Macron’s Paris space summit after White House pressure, yet they will attend the subsequent World Space Business Week in the city. The summit, running 9-10 September, is criticized for poor coordination, unclear purpose and delayed invitations, while Washington opposes the EU Space Act and a Franco-German spectrum plan that could limit Starlink’s access.
