Galactic Compass 2: now with new augmented reality mode

Galactic Compass 2 adds an augmented-reality mode that lets users place the green arrow pointing toward the Milky Way’s centre in their surroundings and walk around it, plus an Apple Watch companion that provides a haptic cue when aligned. The update also introduces a “Liquid Glass” UI for iOS 27 and retains the original arrow’s fixed-point navigation using quaternion-based rotation handling.
