Geolocating a random island using geometry and CUDA programming

The author solved a geolocation challenge by extracting a triangular “fingerprint” from a drone photo of three islands, then programmatically matching that geometry against the global OpenStreetMap coastline dataset using CUDA-accelerated filters. He narrowed candidates with tropical latitude bounds, a local-density limit of ten islands within 5 km, and a 20 km clustering step, ultimately generating and sampling triangle triplets to identify the resort’s name, coordinates, and camera bearing.
