George Santos Just Got Hit With Kalshi’s First-Ever Lifetime Ban

Kalshi imposed a lifetime ban on former Republican congressman George Santos and fined him $71,356 for insider-trading and market-manipulation after he traded on contracts about his attendance at the February 2026 State of the Union and then posted false statements to sway prices. The platform froze his account, referred the case to the CFTC, and warned that further legal action will follow if payment is not made.
