Germany is evaluating 30 AI tools for its military with a prototype due in 2027

The Bundeswehr is evaluating 30 artificial-intelligence tools designed to accelerate battlefield decision-making by analysing data from drones and satellites. Vice Admiral Thomas Daum, head of the military’s cyber command, said a prototype will be ready in the second quarter of 2027, with full deployment slated for 2028.
