Global Glacier Extinction Explorer
The study quantifies individual glacier extinction worldwide using two thresholds: area below 0.01 km2 or volume below 1% of its initial value. Median extinction years and 25%–75% probability intervals are derived from GloGEM, OGGM, and PyGEM models under +1.5 °C, +2.0 °C, +2.7 °C, and +4.0 °C warming scenarios, based on Randolph Glacier Inventory v6.0 outlines. Results are publicly available on Zenodo (doi:10.5281/zenodo.17371641).
