Google-backed Pixxel raises $100M in India’s largest space tech round

Pixxel secured $100 million in Series C financing, led by Temasek and Seraphim Space Investment Trust, raising total capital to $195 million—the largest private round for an Indian space-tech company. The funds will support the Honeybee hyperspectral constellation (first launch in 2027), high-resolution optical and future SAR satellites, the Aurora analytics platform, and construction of a Gigapixxel manufacturing plant. Pixxel currently provides services to NASA, the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office, and an IN-SPACe-selected consortium building a 12-satellite Indian Earth-observation constellation.
