Google Has Removed MV2 Extensions from the Chrome Web Store, Including UBO

Google removed all Manifest V2 extensions from the Chrome Web Store, so uBlock Origin and similar add-ons cannot be installed or updated there, though versions already on Chrome 138 or earlier remain without updates. The removal also blocks MV2 extensions in other Chromium browsers that use the store, while Brave will host AdGuard, uBlock Origin, uMatrix and NoScript on its own backend. Google says the shift to Manifest V3 improves security, privacy, performance and permission controls.
