Google now allows you to add your favorite new sources to Search

Google added a “Preferred Sources” button that lets readers mark a site as a Preferred Source, causing the publication to appear more often in Search features such as Top Stories, AI Overviews and AI Mode. The button also returns users to their last page on the publisher’s site. Additionally, Google is rolling out a Gemini-powered update to the Discover feed, allowing users to curate content and audio briefings by interacting with the chatbot.
