Google tells Android app developers to cool it on memory use, or else

Google issued a memo stating that the Play Store will enforce new memory-usage limits on Android apps, targeting the ongoing RAM crisis. The restrictions, first introduced with Android 17 on Pixel devices, will be policed, and apps that exceed the limits will face penalties.
