Google’s Android update tackles motion sickness, accessibility, and more

Google rolled out five Android 17 updates: “Motion Assist” adds a customizable bubble overlay that syncs with vehicle motion to lessen motion-sickness, while “Guided Vision” uses Gemini and the camera to read text, identify objects and give voice guidance for blind or low-vision users. Additional features let Gemini store “remembered items” in Find Hub, integrate Google Keep into Messages, and personalize chat backgrounds, bubbles and colors.
