Google’s India AI hub cleared for 2.51GW, not 1GW, the Guardian reports

Google’s $15 billion AI data-centre project in Andhra Pradesh has received state environmental clearance for 2.51 GW of power capacity, more than double the 1 GW initially announced. The approval documents were seen by the Guardian while reporters visited Tarluvada village, one of the sites where the facility is being built.
