Google’s map of every possible DNA typo could speed up rare disease research

DeepMind’s AlphaGenome Atlas provides a petabyte-scale dataset of precomputed predictions for every one-letter substitution—about 9 billion variants—in the human genome, offered free to academic researchers. Validation used whole-genome data from the UK Biobank project at Exeter and the Broad Institute, and the resource will be available commercially through Google Cloud.
