GrapheneOS may skip Pixel 11 over missing hardware security feature
GrapheneOS may drop support for the Pixel 11 because the devices lack usable ARM Memory Tagging Extension (MTE) at hardware, firmware and software levels, preventing the OS from meeting its security standards. Without MTE, protection against remote and local memory-corruption attacks after first unlock is severely weakened, so the project recommends Pixel 8-10 devices and is considering skipping the Pixel 11 generation.
