An attacker withdrew roughly 4,000 BTC from Blockstream’s Liquid Network federation wallet, which held about 4,200 BTC, before the breach was discovered. After Blockstream patched its bridge nodes, the attacker returned approximately 3,400 BTC, and the network temporarily halted new transactions.
