Guerrilla is reportedly overhauling Horizon Hunters Gathering to make it more of a traditional co-op game

Guerrilla Games is scaling back Horizon Hunters Gathering, stripping live-service features and adding a story-driven co-op mode after closed playtests yielded poor feedback. Developers have until year-end to meet a new milestone, with many staff reassigned to other projects while the sequel to Horizon Forbidden West remains years from completion.
