Hacking with Claude on a $27 Smart Watch

The author used Claude-assisted AI tools on Ubuntu to clone the InfiniSim repository, build the InfiniTime firmware, and create a custom watch face for the $27 PineTime smartwatch, replicating a Casio-style design. By iteratively refining text layout and replacing static elements with a 240 × 240 background image, the prototype loads via Bluetooth in about ten minutes and refreshes in 1–2 seconds, with the full code and an AGENTS.md guide published on GitHub.
