Headlong: A Microharness for Persistent Agents
Headlong is an open-source microharness that keeps an LLM-driven agent in a continuous self-guided loop, storing all observations in a single thought stream. The prototype agent, Audel, interacts with users on Slack, Telegram, and a mobile app, autonomously prioritising topics, initiating projects, and auditing stale git branches. Installation requires a single command, but the alpha software should run in a sandbox with a spend-capped API key because the agent can execute arbitrary shell commands.
