A home for responsible optimists

Deblina Sarkar’s MIT Media Lab team has developed “circulatronics,” nanoscale electronic devices that travel through blood to locate diseased brain tissue and deliver wireless electrical stimulation without surgery. In mouse studies, this precise stimulation halted tumor growth where conventional therapies failed, and clinical trials could begin within three years. The platform aims to make life-saving treatments affordable and widely accessible.
