How Focus mode has changed in iOS 27

iOS 27 expands Focus by allowing the Focus icon in Control Center to be resized from 1×1 to 2×2, saving space or speeding selection. It adds Shortcuts integration, enabling actions to trigger on specific Focus modes, including Sleep and Driving, and supports “Otherwise if” logic for multiple mode conditions. Users can also create custom Focus profiles that silence selected apps while permitting chosen contacts and automate app launches, such as opening a workout app when switching to Fitness mode.
