How to block and unblock a number on your Android phone

Android users block callers via the Phone or Contacts app. Samsung devices provide app and recent-call blocking; Pixel and stock Android use the Phone app’s block/report spam option. Blocked numbers are declined before ringing, texts go to spam, and blocking is device-specific, requiring repeat if the SIM changes. Unblocking removes the number, restoring calls and texts.
