How to Build a Printer
The author added IPP support to the Xteink X3, advertising monochrome 300 dpi output and accepting Apple raster and PWG raster formats. The printer was announced via Bonjour with the _ipp._tcp and _universal subtypes. Incoming raster rows stream directly into the display’s framebuffer, and the final image is saved as a BMP on the SD card, enabling full-page prints despite only 400 KB RAM. A test print of a macOS manga page rendered on the e-ink screen in roughly one second.
