How to set up your Sonos speakers using the app

The Sonos S2 app now supports straightforward setup for both legacy and Dolby Atmos-capable models. After installing the app, create an account, connect the speaker and phone to the same Wi-Fi network, then follow the prompts to add the speaker, assign a room name, and optionally link Alexa. If the app cannot find the speaker, verify network settings, disable VPNs, update firmware, and perform a power-cycle reset before considering a full hardware reset.
