How to watch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope's launch

NASA will livestream the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launch on August 30, starting at 6:20 a.m. ET, with lift-off no earlier than 7:26 a.m. ET from Launch Complex 39A aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy. A backup launch is scheduled for August 31 at 7:22 a.m. ET. The infrared telescope’s primary mirror passed its final inspection in May, and its field of view is at least 100 times larger than Hubble’s. It employs dark-energy techniques and a starlight-blocking system to study exoplanet habitability.
