Huawei copies Samsung’s privacy display in its latest trifold

Huawei’s third trifold, the Mate XT 2, uses the same inward-folding design as Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold and adds a privacy-enhancing display similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra. The original Mate XT, launched in late 2024 in China, featured an accordion-style fold that eliminated a cover screen but left portions of the main display exposed.
