Huawei launches Mate XT 2 tri-fold two days before Apple’s foldable iPhone

Huawei released the Mate XT 2, a third-generation tri-fold phone with a 10.2-inch display, a 6,000-mAh battery, and a redesigned hinge that reduces the crease. It uses a Kirin 9050 Pro processor built on Huawei’s own process. Xiaomi’s 18 Fold features an Xring O3 chip, a 7.6-inch folding screen, a 200-MP camera, and 67 W wired charging. Apple’s foldable, slated for launch on 9 September, will have a 7.8-inch inner screen, a 5.3-inch cover display, no telephoto lens, Touch ID, and a price above $2,000.
