Hugging Face is selling a $399 robot duck with open-source software

Pollen Robotics, a Hugging Face subsidiary, released the 25 cm Microduck bipedal robot for $399. It houses 15 motors, a Rockchip RK3566 AI processor, 1 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, a front camera, LiDAR, dual IMUs, and roughly one hour of battery life. The robot walks, crouches, self-rights, lifts objects up to ~100 g, and can be fitted with optional wheeled feet, NFC tags, and a laser-pointer follower. Its software stack is fully open-source on GitHub, while the mechanical and electronic designs remain proprietary.
