I captured 72 hours of idle Android packets behind pfSense

A factory-unlocked Google Pixel 8, left idle for 72 hours on a closed WPA3-Enterprise network, transmitted 8,920 background telemetry pings to Alphabet servers, averaging 348 wake-ups per hour. The pings included 84.2 Wi-Fi router BSSID uploads for location triangulation, 48.0 hardware fingerprint and SIM serial transmissions, 14.8 push-notification heartbeats, and 28.5 photo-library token requests. The dataset, captured by an external pfSense firewall with nanosecond-accurate logging, lists exact timestamps, destination IPs, ASNs, ports, and payload sizes.
