I spent $220 on Google app ads. 60% of the installs were robots

Dayzle spent CA$40 daily on a Google Ads install campaign, but 60% of the 56 billed installs were from a bot farm that downloaded an old app version from a non-Play source. The bots opened the app once, spent zero seconds, and never returned, while 13 genuine users played 92 games. The developer now changed the campaign goal to “win a puzzle” to reduce bot exploitation.
