ICE Plans to Pay $5 Million to Create National Voting Database

Immigration and Customs Enforcement will award a contract up to $5 million to build a national voter database, collecting publicly available registration and voting history files from all 50 states. The contractor will provide data for every federal election, with party affiliation fields excluded unless written directed by the contracting officer, Michael Royer. The contract, announced in an acquisition forecast, is expected to close by September 30.
