Insilico says its AI-designed lung drug lowered biological age markers in a 42-patient trial

In a phase 2a safety trial, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patients received Insilico Medicine’s AI-designed TNIK inhibitor rentosertib. Proteomic analysis of 42 participants showed six ageing clocks indicating a 2.7–3.5-year reduction in biological age after four weeks of 30 mg twice-daily dosing. The 60 mg once-daily group improved forced vital capacity by 98.4 mL versus a 20.3 mL decline on placebo, and adverse-event rates were similar across all arms.
