Instagram adds feature that automatically trims clips for Reels

Instagram’s new “First Draft” tool automatically removes silences and pauses from selected Reels clips, then arranges the trimmed footage on a timeline for immediate playback, further editing, or posting. The feature, classified as machine-learning rather than AI, launches on iOS first, with no Android release date announced.
