Instrument Clusters Are Now Paid Extras in Two Hyundai Models

Hyundai now sells the 9.9-inch Pleos Connect instrument cluster as a paid option: the Korea-market Avante adds it for 350,000 won (about $255), while the base-trim Ioniq 3 lacks the screen entirely, requiring a $5,000 upgrade to a higher trim for access. The system, first used in the Grandeur sedan, will eventually appear in 20 million Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles worldwide by 2030.
