iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max: our first hands-on impressions

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max retain the iPhone 17 Pro’s aluminum chassis and screen dimensions but add color-matched back glass and four finishes—black, silver, “glacier” (blue) and burgundy. The lineup introduces a variable-aperture main camera and new “Pro” controls that expand photographic options. The devices were examined at Apple Park after the “Surprise and Shine” event.
