Iranian dissident Pouria Zeraati, a former Manoto reporter and current host on Iran International, documented a two-year campaign by Tehran agents that included daily threatening calls, stalkers, a “wanted dead or alive” poster, and a Telegram offer to pay for his murder. British police responded with armored vehicle protection, home alarms and a temporary safe house, yet Zeraati continued publicly condemning the regime, calling it “filth” after the execution of protesters.
