Ireland’s media regulator has opened its first formal investigation under the Online Safety Code, probing X’s age-verification systems and parental-control features for compliance with new digital-safety rules. Separately, OpenAI claims an internal model, described as “significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra,” solved the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize problem using 10,000 concurrent agents over 88 hours, while denying that any de-identified data from mathematicians Tristan Buckmaster and Levent Alpöge contributed to the breakthrough.
