Isar Aerospace reaches orbit and deploys payloads on second flight
Isar Aerospace’s “Onward and Upward” flight launched from Andøya Space, Norway, at 22:12 CEST, crossed the Kármán line, performed stage separation, ignited the second stage, executed a circularization burn, and deployed payloads from the German Space Agency’s Microlauncher Competition. Founded in 2018, the company operates a 40,000 m2 facility capable of producing up to 40 launch vehicles annually and is constructing a launch complex in Nova Scotia for mid- to high-inclination missions.
