Jaguar Land Rover cuts 4,000 jobs and resets break-even to 300,000 cars

Jaguar Land Rover will eliminate 4,000 positions, about 10% of its global staff, to reach a break-even production target of 300,000 vehicles annually. It plans £1.7 bn in savings over two years, investing £15-18 bn in electrification, digital tech, advanced manufacturing and customer experience. Five new products are slated for launch within 12 months, and the “Growth Reimagined” plan includes a voluntary redundancy program and a renewed focus on North America to drive double-digit revenue growth.
