JBL takes on Sonos with new multi-room Cove speakers

JBL’s new Cove series adds whole-home audio to its lineup, offering three models—Cove M1, X1 and P1—in black or white that can operate solo, as a stereo pair, or linked for multi-room playback, directly competing with Sonos and Bose Lifestyle Ultra. The compact Cove M1 retails for $229.95, features three 0.75-inch tweeters, a 4-inch woofer, and requires wired power, while the larger models launch on September 13.
