Jev: New frontier model 40-400x cheaper and 20-200x faster

TypeSafe AI has released its first System One model, Jev, which delivers structured, probabilistic decisions without generating text. Jev runs 20-200 × faster and costs 40-400 × less per call than comparable large language models, thanks to a new architecture, parallel sampler, and Reinforcement Learning for Calibrated Decisions (RLCD). In side-by-side demos, Jev outputs all probabilities in parallel, matching GPT-5.6 Terra’s intelligence while avoiding hallucinations and type errors.
