John Deere launched an AI chatbot for farmers

John Deere is piloting “JD,” an AI assistant that draws on a farmer’s field, machine and operational data to answer queries about equipment settings, fuel usage and optimal harvest timing, aiming to boost profitability. The Early Access Program includes a ten-point Farmer Data Commitment promising not to sell the data.
