Konrad Zuse Museum shutting down due to lack of funding

The Konrad Zuse Computer Museum (ZCOM) in Hoyerswerda may close by year-end after the municipal housing company withdrew its €110,000 annual subsidy, putting the city’s financial support on the council agenda. Founded in 1995, reopened in 2017, the museum displays Zuse models Z11, Z22, Z22r, Z23 and Z25 plus Robotron hardware, but attracts only about 10,000 paying visitors instead of the expected 20-25 000.
